RENA INITIATIVE FOR HUMANITY
A registered indigenous non-governmental organization committed to ‘empower and promote positive change to the vulnerable communities living in Africa to live peaceful and harmonious life.
The organization was formed by a group of Right Activist who felt the needs to advocate for fundamental rights, which are included in (CAP 4 of the Uganda constitution of 1995 amendment, “Protection and Promotion of fundamental and other human rights and freedom that are reflected under article 26 of the Ugandan Constitution”, “Rights to property ownership , succession and inheritance right” ) and empowerment of the most vulnerable marginalized groups(Women, girls and orphans) of people under articles 33 and 34 of the constitution of Uganda who are being suppressed by the looming state of, poverty, right abuse/violations, ignorance and diseases in Africa.
Goal:
To establish community setups where community members especially women and children are able to enjoy their rights, access socio- economic services, social justice, better health care and education services through their initiatives to promote positive response and preventive measures to HIV/AIDS, violence against women and children, Sexual and Gender Based Violence (S.G.B.V.) and any form of rights abuse and violation.
Mission:
Empower and promote transformation process among community in making positive changes in behavior, believes and attitudes that have been ruined because of negative situation or environment and strengthen capacity of the human right defenders in protecting grass root women, youth, children, human rights defenders’ movements and mainstreaming safety, security and protection management in their work/life.

Our Objectives:
- To advocate for the rights, protection and safety of human right defenders and other vulnerable people (women and children).
- Empowering vulnerable community to prevent GBV/HIV/AIDS and other preventable diseases.
- Promote education and reproductive health rights of women and girls.
- Drive Engaging community in food security, nutrition and livelihood diversification.Impact
- Establish a vocational skills training Centre For skills training, apprenticeship, counselling and guidance on psychosocial and economic empowerment
- Engage Women and youth in Peace Building, Conflict management, Good Governance and Leadership
- Engage community in environmental conservation drives including planting of trees drives, innovation and biotechnology, awareness creation and policy influencing.
